Kallum won 11 Green Stars under Irish Kennel Club rules. He won the first ever CACIB in Goldens in Ireland, taking BOB. Also one Gundog Group 1 and many other group placings. Kallum like his sire was very much my dog. He won well as a pup, but his litter sister pipped him for his Junior Warrant. He was slow to mature and took many Res Green Stars behind his father. He was used at stud as a young dog but became sterile when he was just over  five years. Regrettably he was only used on pet bitches with the exception of one of our own bitches, Ir Sh Ch Lislone Charmaine, as we still had his father at stud. Kallum gained his Stud Book Number in the UK.
Kallum was N.Ireland Gundog of the Year one year and runner-up on several occasions. In 2000  he was Res BIS at the Ulster GRC Open Show in his twelfth year. Like his father and his half-sister  Ir Sh Ch Lislone Jazz Singer he loved showing and would bark if left behind. Like father like son! He also won BIS and Res BISs at Open Shows.
Like Lislone Beguile,   Lislone Korona (3 CC's in Finland),  Lislone Hey Jude and  Sh Ch Oi Oi Garbank and Lislone Kallan he is from the influential mating of Ch/Ir Ch Garbank Special Edition of Lislone to Lislone Dawn Damask. Also from this mating was Danseuse Debonaire who won many BOB and Groups at open shows and won her Stud Book Number at a field trial.
Lislone Ringmaster was the only son of Kallum's who was shown. He was from Charmaine's litter. He won several res green stars behind his father. He also won BOB at Open shows.

Kallum had to be given sleep on  29th April 2002.
Kallum, you were such a lovely, loving boy. My Boy. Our lives are the richer for having had you.

Yet another Star is gone.

Back to dogs past and present.
