The man who had bought Dawn from Kate and who was the breeder of Judy kept them in less than ideal surroundings and Kate bought them back. Judy was then offered to the Garbank kennel where she got her name. She was registered in the name of Jim's first wife. She needed much tender, loving care before being shown but at her first ever Championship Show she won the Res CC under Joan Tudor. She was shown several more times before the breakup of Jim's first marriage and won 1 CC and a further Res CC. and she was handled by Jim to all of these awards. Jim tried after the marriage breakdown to get Judy, but without success. She was eventually transferred to the Scarholme kennel where she succeeded in finishing off her title. The picture above is less than ideal but is taken from a Dog World advert after she took her first CC at Scottish Kennel Club, it does however show her super type and construction.
