pup info ref dangers and poisons
Hints and help regarding poisons and other dangers for you dog.
*****Hints from experience.****
It is a good idea to give new owners some food for puppy for two or three days or more. Give a diet sheet when they pay a deposit for pup.
When people book pups they should pay a deposit. Then you will not have them change their mind for one that someone else has, that may be ready sooner.
Let them pick in order of paying deposit. Make this plain to them. Try to take deposits in order that they booked…first booked gets first pick..
If Tattooing puppies before they leave do not send registrations away before tattooing as you can then put tattoo number on registration form to Kennel Club free.
Tattooing is recommended for identification. You can clearly see it and it does not need a reader. It is registered with National Tattoo register for life. It only takes 3 seconds to do. It is in our opinion better than a microchip which can migrate, shatter and needs a reader of correct make to read.

A MESSAGE from YOUR PUPPY
Children's toys are just asking to be chewed.
Socks and pants and dish clothes etc are great to play with but sometimes I forget and swallow them.
Table scraps . butcher's bones ,Currants, chocolate , raisins, can make us very ill.
Cocoa Shell Mulch is LETHAL
.
Christmas decorations are a very tempting source of mischief to an inquisitive pet.
Crackers and party poppers can give us a bad scare
.
OOOPs, I did not mean to eat that I was just playing with it!
Too many visitors are upsetting to the routine.
Please remember we are live pups , we are not toys.
PLEASE CLEAN UP MY POOPS or people will be cross. It is against the law not to clean up. Always carry poop bags.. (perfumed nappy bags are ideal)
If you give me a bone , do not give a cooked one as they are brittle and sharp pieces can break off and stick in my throat.
Keep all underwear, socks etc out of my reach as we pups LOVE to chew and swallow them. If you are tidy you may be able to avoid me having a nasty operation.
Chicken and Game bones are very dangerous. Do be careful at Christmas that although we dogs just LOVE the turkey it can give us severe runs as it is very rich. Bones should be wrapped and put in bin well out of our reach.
