Danny was the first link of the two kennels Garbank and Lislone. He
was bred by Jim and owned by Kate (then Kate Black). He won his
Irish Title at 22 months and his first CC at two and a half years. He
was the most prolific winner ever in the breed in Ireland with almost
400 Green Star points. He not only achieved his titles early he was
also a' laster' and took a CC at eleven and a half years. A year
later, a full ten years after his first CC, at the age of 12 years 6 months he took the CC and BIS.
We believe one of the oldest Goldens ever to win a CC. (and B.I.S)
The picture above is of Danny in his thirteenth year. We had to say Goodye to our beloved boy
at 14 and a half years old.
